Krakow, the second largest Polish city after Warsaw, is the best tourist icon of Poland. It used be a capital city and the sites of most of Polish kings. It is the most visited Polish city by international tourists. Krakow was untouched during the Second World War and the whole district of the Old Town is on the UNESCO list.  What is more Krakow is indeed an academic city having more than 200 000 students altogether and more than 30 universities and higher schools.
